Travel to Leeds

Leeds is easy to get to and the conference (apart from the demo at Menwith Hill) will be held in the city centre. Some home stays with local supporters will be available. Please contact us if you will need accommodation. A list of local hotels and accommodation will be available.

Leeds is 2.5 hours by train from London and 1.5 hours from Manchester airport. Leeds-Bradford airport is half an hour from the Leeds.

If you arrive Thursday evening we can arrange a place to meet up, but let us know, especially if you want a home-stay.

Travel from London

Trains leave from Kings Cross and take about 3 hours. Buses leave from Victoria and take 4-5 hours. You can also get buses from Luton airportto Leeds with National Express.

Travel from Manchester airport.

Trains go direct from Manchester airport to Leeds.

What time to I need to be in Leeds?

On Friday the coaches for the trip to Menwith Hill leave at 12noon from Emmanuel Church, or on Saturday the first session will start prompt at 9.30am.On Sunday Scientists for Global Responsibility will start their meeting at 10am and the Global Network will start at 9am. These meetings are at the Swarthmore Centre.
