With the two key bases Fylingdales and Menwith Hill on our doorstep, Yorkshire CND leads the anti space weapons shield campaign 'No Star Wars'. Both are key components of star wars and space military use and both are integral to the nuclear doctrine. Through lobbying, demonstrations, direct action and more, Yorkshire CND campaigns for more openness from the bases and the government and against the roles the bases play. Unltimately we want to see the bases closed and the land returned to the people.
