Redhall Group, based in Wakefield, operates within the nuclear industry from new construction to decommissioning. The Redhall Group have been working at AWE Aldermaston, the UK's nuclear bomb factory, for over ten years and have just been awarded contracts totalling £6.7 billion. Redhall Group are directly involved in the manufacture of the UK's nuclear bombs and are making profit out of AWE Aldermaston's illegal expansion. Redhall Group & the Bomb Factory Redhall Group Redhall Group, based in Wakefield, consists of seven engineering businesses operating in industries including nuclear, oil, gas, food, defence safety, security and transport infrastructure. It operates within the nuclear industry from new construction to decommissioning. Their Executive Chair, David Jackson, is Chair of the children’s museum, Eureka. Redhall Group & Sellafield Redhall Group have contracts at Sellafield, the most recent to manufacture specialist nuclear storage containers and infrastructure equipment for two new build projects. These projects are worth £3.3 million. They say they want to be involved in the new build projects. Redhall Group & AWE Aldermaston The Atomic Weapons Establishement (AWE) is the UK's bomb factory. It is based at two sites in Berkshire: Aldermaston and Burghfield. They design, build and manufacture nuclear bombs. The Redhall Group have been working at AWE Aldermaston for over ten years. In 2008 they were awarded 'Contractor of the Year status' at AWE Aldermaston. During 2009 Redhall started work on the new High Explosive Fabrication Facility (HEFF) project at AWE Aldermaston worth £8.3 million. They are also received a contract to design MENSA, the new Warhead Assembly Facility. In November 2009 they announced contracts totalling £6.7 million with AWE Aldermaston. The majority of that money, £4.7 million is for the design, build and upgrade of control and electrical systems in the radiological areas. The rest of the money, £2 million, is to work across AWE sites for three years on design, manufacture and installation.
