UK InvolvementThe UK is complicit in all current US Missile Defence plans and further development. Successive governments have allowed bases at Fylingdales and Menwith Hill, both in Yorkshire, to participate in the programme. There has been little parliamentary scrutiny of US Missile Defence. In fact, an offer made my Tony Blair to host the interceptor missiles in the UK has never been withdrawn.
